How does Boux make calls on my behalf?

Boux places calls using a natural-sounding AI voice. You give it the instruction — "book me a table for two at 7pm" or "call my GP and request a repeat prescription" — and it handles the full conversation from start to finish. You receive a complete transcript and a summary of the outcome immediately afterwards.

Do I need to link my existing email or calendar accounts?

No. Boux works as a fully standalone assistant. It gives you a new dedicated phone number and email address — you don't connect any existing accounts. No OAuth, no API keys, no configuration of any kind. Install the app, subscribe, and your assistant is ready to use.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. All conversations, call transcripts, and emails are encrypted in transit and at rest. Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train third-party AI models. You can delete all of your data at any time directly from within the app.

What if the assistant makes a mistake on a call?

Boux strictly follows the instructions you give it. For anything sensitive, irreversible, or outside the scope of your instructions, it will pause and confirm with you before proceeding. Every call produces a full transcript so you always know exactly what was said and agreed.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Absolutely. Both the Base and Pro plans are monthly subscriptions managed through Apple Pay. You can cancel at any time directly from your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions — no cancellation fees, no retention calls, no awkward emails.

What languages does Boux support?

English only at launch. Multi-language support — including the ability to handle calls and emails in other languages on your behalf — is on the roadmap and coming shortly after the initial release.

What's the difference between Base and Pro?

Both plans include a dedicated phone number and email address, access to all automations, and full AI call and email capabilities. Pro increases your daily message limit (1,000 vs 150), voice minutes (60 vs 5 per month), and adds advanced features like bringing your own API keys and spend limit controls.

Is there a free trial?

There is no free tier, but we'll notify waitlist members of any launch offers before the app goes live. Join the waitlist to be first to know.
